The first half of 2008 proved to be one of the busiest in Therco's history. Deciding which achievements to actually report on has proved to be one of our biggest challenges - but here's a brief overview of the highlights:

Our 'tube end welding marathon' in March resulted in over 72,000 runs being completed (on approximately 12,000 duplex - low finned and 6,000 carbon steel straight tubes) with no failures under dye pen inspection or bundle pressure test.

April saw record breaking sales exceeding £2million in 1 calendar month for Therco's existing Sheffield plant. Also in April, further strategic recruitment saw Therco's Inspection team significantly strengthened - allowing us to be much more efficient in this key area.

Our online presence increased in May with the launch of the brand new Vessco website, enhancing our growing reputation as a first class modern day supplier of pressure vessels and other high integrity fabrications. For more information go to www.vessco.co.uk
